How do you evaluate as Sag ?

Dear friends,
I am just wondering how you evaluate yourselves as citizens of Sag.Domain. Most people say we are free spirited, easygoing, carefree, adventureous, go-lucky( maybe should rephrase as spontaneous), quick-wit, compassionate, never settle down, independent and yet stubborn. How do you characterize yourself as Sag? How do you overcome some of your weak characteristics? Love to have some of your feedback.

I think I fit most of the traits of Sag pretty well (I am also Sag rising with moon in Cancer). I think my biggest weaknesses are the inability to be happy with very many things for long, constant adventurous nature, and lack of commitment. I often find myself completely absorbed in a hobby or person or cause, and then when it gets old it just gets old. This can be really hard with things in my life that require more commitment than that, so I try to channel that energy in hobbies that are just for fun. I reserve my very little commitment for the one or two major things going on in my life that need more of my concentration. That way I don't feel bad when I get bored with something, because it was just for fun anyway. I also work as many different kinds of jobs as I can. I work full-time at a veterinarian's office (hoping to make this my career), also pet sit and housesit for people that live in my area, help a friend who owns a catering business on weekends, and make jewelry to sell in local stores.
As for the adventurous nature, I moved to a place where I can go outdoors and hike, fish, camp, swim, canoe, raft, etc.... and since I live near so many places to do these kinds of things, I can do somewhere different every weekend and not get bored (and still feel like I am getting away).
Lack of commitment I am still working on. In relationships I can do really well, I just have that horrible trait that I move from one thing to the next really easily, which isn't so easy for the person I am with. Usually they don't even know something is really that wrong or that I am over it, until poof....I am done.

Guess I am the blacksheep in the family. Maybe I should consider to go through some reforming process.(Haha)

It seems to me like my Sag rising balances out my Cancer sun, making me more adventurous, outgoing and philosophical. I am constantly planning new things to do and places to go! I also love to learn, but tend to try and take in too much at once and overlook important details. , or burn myself out by getting over excited and then losing interest (lots of Aries and Gemini in the chart too.) I have a bit of an escapist personality, when things get tense or hard in a relationship I usually am the one to dissappear for awhile and let it blow over. I'm not very confrontational which is a faulty thing in my opinion (my Cancer builds up resentment then). One of my most helpfull traits is my endless optimism, no matter how hard things are I can always stay happy as long as i'm looking toward the future, although my family says I am too idealistic. Mmmm mmmm mmm, I do love my Sag though!!! I don't know where I'd be without it!

I have recently seen how my Sag rising is getting my virgo sun mind into complexities when it comes to love relationships and where to go. Nomadic lifestyle and adventure yes. Wanting to stay somewhere for at least a while to develop a relationship, and getting emails from guys I have been with or who want to be with me from different parts of north america.
My virgo sun would evaluate my saginess, as confusing. However, my sag rising says ohh, just go with the flow and the rest will take care of itself...my virgo sun responds...and what about others feelings, and really grounding somewhere for a while?
There disussion has really heated up in the last few years since I began the Saturn Return process.
I hope they will find a balance and won't have to sacrifice the freedom of sag, nor the stability of a virgo sometime soon.

I'm with you pamela. This sort of happened to me recently. I would develop a relationship then I get bored. Also, finally having the opportunity to travel and being adventureous. really has a strain on relationships. Yet, having a virgo sun too is quite confusing. my sun side tells me that I need to settle down and rethink things. Almost like having two personalities.

My saggie rising balances out my Pisces sun and throws it into an awkward confusion, which I love and hate at the same time. It makes me extroverted and strong in social situations, whereas my Pisces would want me to be a natural wallflower. I would have been better being born a fire sign sun so that I do not have such a conflicting jekyll/hyde syndrome going on, as I always allow my saggie rising to take precedence within most situations particularly in social or public environments. My saggie rising has led to a destiny living in a foreign country, and having successful ventures away from my home land. I have clocked up far more travels than most people I come into contact with. With Jupiter located in my 9th, I have a very strong jupiterian destiny, and have much success in foreign countries which to my delight I am finding out fast :) It has allowed me to be versatile, but what I hate is not being committed to anything as I launch myself into a variety of things and find my life is so packed that I can't jam any or all of them in! There is nothing that I hate about being Saggie rising apart from an inability to commit and getting bored of partners very easily (which obviously lead to longer term romance problems) I have far more issues with being a pisces sun and capricorn moon (yuck). I hate introversion and cautiousness and both of these aspects conflict with my natural destiny.
