pluto transit

hi all you sag rising folk,

just in case you didn't know -- Pluto has been in Sagittarius for a LONG time now (like a few years). Pluto is associated with fate, transformation, things beyond our control (Pluto rules Scorpio in modern Western astro). as such, Pluto's transit of Sagittarius is a very transformative time for those of us with Sagittarius rising. If any of you know Sagittarius-Suns, you can certainly see that they seem to have been quite severely pulled about by reality at this point in their lives -- cuz Pluto is transiting their sun sign. For we Sag rising, the effect is similar, but it is more focused on our outer persona and how we assert ourselves in the world. Death/Rebirth is the theme, as Pluto leaves our 12th house and enters our 1st house.

Pluto presently is at 21 degrees Sagittarius -- so if your rising is less than 21 degrees, this transformation probably has already taken hold. if it is more than 21 degrees Sagittarius (mine is 24), your death/rebirth (on this level) is still to come and you have been spending recent time emptying out old baggage, most likely, dealing with and burying (for good) many of your Pluto issues.

.....so does anyone have any thoughts on this?

what exactly do you mean by ...
''if your rising is less than 21 degrees, this transformation probably has already taken hold''

my rising is 04 degrees Sag.
    sun- 05 deg. Libra
    moon-28 deg. Sag.

I'd appreciate any insight, Ewan or anyone else...thanks

      well.....

I mean: if your rising is less than 21 degrees Sagittarius, Pluto has ALREADY crossed your ascendant, moved from your 12th house into your 1st... ...therefore, you have already experienced the pivotal point in your Pluto-oriented death/rebirth, as relates to your Ascendant.

As Pluto's orbit takes longer than most any human life, it is safe to say this is/was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It will probably take time for you to integrate this. From what I have read and been told, this crossing marks an increase in one's assertiveness, whether voluntary or no.

JenZen, Pluto is still approaching your natal Moon -- so emotionally/inwardly you may not be quite caught up to where others are seeing you (on a Pluto level)... ...so keep this in mind as you go along = others may be seeing you as being at a place where you do not yet see yourself -- i.e., you may be underestimating yourself, or perhaps needlessly writing people off as crazy who are simply just anticipating your inner transformation?

...your friend Tamara is probably much better at explaining all this than I am!

      :)

(If that passes for insight, I'm better than I think!)

I have been wondering about this for a long time. I am 5 degrees Sag rising, so Pluto has a lo-o-o-o-ong transit through my 1st house. It started around Winter/Spring early in 1997, I think. After that I became celibate...VOLUNTARILY!...and happily. At first it was tough, but now this is ME. I have also intensely studied religion and every "Jupiter" topic there is. I developed a taste in Middle Eastern music which supplemets (but does not overtake) my early taste for classic rock and blues.

This is odd, because NONE of this became evident to me until somebadoy asked, and I'm trying to answer the question. :-O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder what the hell will happen when Pluto conjuncts my Jupiter in about 2 years...joined togeher in the 1st House!!!!

In the time that Pluto has tranisited my 1st House, it also conjuncted my Neptune in the 12th. I think maybe now I can better express what is in my subconcious. It is such a mystery, I am not even sure it is good to analyze it too much. But whatever it is......is happening!

Additionally, folks, I havea new tribe called 10th House Pluto...and many of you with sag rising (as I do) will have your plutos in the 10th House, if you are of similar age. Maybe I will see some of you there...

Wow. My Sun sits at 21'02 Sagi, and my rising is at ~17 Sagi. So, the external has already happened and Pluto is now sitting squarely on my sun. I hadn't really given much consideration to this, but I can tell you that the past 2 years have been an amazing time of transformation for me. It's been a gradual, but active time of study and growth. My entire view of the nature of reality has changed. I am now in the active process of taking what I've learned and internalizing it, learning to incorporate it more smoothly with who I am and how I lead my life. :) Makes so much sense.

I'd welcome hearing more of your insights into this as well. I suspect it will help me to understand this incredibly important time.

Sun Aquarius (mars and Saturn too), Leo moon, (Venus & Chiron Pisces) Sag rising 17 degrees...the process of death, rebirth and transformation has been incredible to say the least and has affected every area of my life. Things have been settled for the last 3 or 4 years, which is quite along stretch and business is stable enough to barely get by. I am sure this is based mostly on my emotional state. Still there's crap that lingers and some unfinished business. I wouldnt say I feel a whammy coming, quite the opposite, I know theres lots more change to come, yet I wonder, when will I get the financial side back into a more reasonable $$$ state?

      Hi all!

I have sun in Sag in 26º (i am aquarius/pisces cusp rising)
I am having these powerful transit over the last year and it's still in its middle.
I had the first approach, then one year later the first conjuntion and now I am approaching (retrograding) next conjunction and by the end of the year I will have my third.
Adding to this I have natal Neptune 0.5º before the sun and Mercury 3º after!

I have for long, felt my carrier issues under preasure (10th house transit) and when it got to the sun and neptune (end of 10th house), lots of things happened. I dont know yet if this is going to change radically my identity or not, as indicated, but surely I have though of myself,my sun characteristics more than ever. All issues of society, ideals, identities of me and the others have been through change. Also, some power struggles(hard ones).
      I still have to see.
I have met my grandfather on the day before of the exact aspect!
I have a near-dead experience and some frightening crysis just the year before when pluto approach the sun and only conjunted neptune. And I have been through a short-term plutonian relationship that end shortly after the exact conjuntion.
I will see how it gets now the second time!
