um, yes.
but usually when my ideas begin to expand and my words start to fill the room and my thoughts get bigger and i have a clearer understanding of the subject that i never had before as i think and speak my ideas out loud.... the person i'm talking to usually can't keep up or can't relate due to a closing of the mind as the idea gets bigger and deeper and closer to the truth.

and then i stop, smile, and say "or something like that."

only a few people i know can keep up with my idea overload. my husband for one (which is why i married him).

Oh hell yes. Do it all the time. Speaking concisely without knowing what you're about to say is an art form!

I also garnered the nickname 'Cliff' (as in, Cliff Claven, from Cheers) for being able to expound at length, and with great authority on any subject by my friends in college. :)

mathew I know what I am going to say..I just don't worry about reaction. Sure somethings I am concern about feelings,,,but definitely not if someone is rude first...then all hell is doomed
